Hastelloy WNR 2.4602 welded pipe has improved creep and stress rupture properties, which should be considered under sensitization and intergranular corrosion exposure conditions. It is a low carbon steel. It is often used at low temperatures due to its high toughness and low magnetic permeability. This high alloy steel has excellent strength at high temperatures, as well as strong resistance to creep deformation and environmental erosion. It is used in fluidized bed coal burners, flare heads, tube hangers and radiant tubes in oil refining and steam boilers. It is also used to make burner heads, clamps, brick brackets, brick racks and tube hangers.
